“Fancy is lying, she had s*x with Alex in January after they reconciled” Alex Ekubo’s sister, Ifeoma shed more light on their failed engagement

The relationship between actor Alex Ekubo and his ex-fiance, Fancy Acholonu, appears to be deteriorating as his sister Ifeoma has defended him.

Ifeoma clarified the situation of the shenanigans going on between the estranged couple in an online chat with Obodo Oyibo.

Regarding Alex Ekubo’s sexual orientation, Ifeoma dispelled rumors that he is gay and criticized Fancy for encouraging them with her “Live in your truth” declaration and claim that they never had cex during their five-year relationship.

Ifeoma argued that Fancy was spreading untrue rumors about her brother and that he isn’t gay. According to Ifeoma, the two had sex in January, therefore the “[email protected]” claims are untrue.

In an interview with Stella Dimoko Korkus, Fancy Acholonu revealed that for the five years they dated, he never had intimacy with her.

“I tried my best. He wanted to get back with me as much as I did. We’ve been at this for one year. But he felt since I broke up with him I should do more of the work. I was fine with that but his methods are cruel and constantly public. His sexuality is not the reason I broke up with him. I’m very open minded so regardless of what he prefers, love is love for me. I loved him for his personality and heart nothing more. He didn’t want to be with me intimately which was confusing and difficult for me to understand especially for 5 years so it did affect my self esteem as I kept myself for him and when he would cheat with curvy women he wouldn’t perform with them either so I don’t know, I can’t confirm or deny his cexuality but for me, I loved him despite all and he still found ways to hurt me.”

“When I met him I didn’t have much experience so it was easy to convince me that his decision was because of religion. But as he would constantly cheat and yes I caught him, it would hurt me because that’s not part of the religious believe he made our celibacy to be. Honestly this whole thing has been complicated beyond words so it’s unhealthy for me to continue this relationship. I guess I needed this post he begged me to do so that i can see his intention was just to clean up his image.”

When asked to say something to Alexx through this interview, Fancy Acholonu said: “Honestly I don’t know what to say to him. This has to be the most devastating thing I’ve ever been through, and for it to be so public; I pray we both find healing and peace because it won’t be an easy journey. One breakup statement shouldn’t have led to all this. I wish I never said anything but I am human; I was fed up with good reasons. I pray he doesn’t only focus on people’s reactions but evaluate his actions too. I also pray he learns to be real and more forgiving with his next person and not be so consumed with having the perfect image because it’s draining to keep that up. My mental health can’t tolerate our relationship anymore.”

In other news, Popular Nollywood actress, Sandra Okunzuwa, shared a painful experience that made her despise men for a long time.

In a recent interview with The Sun, the screen diva discussed her traumatic experiences with men and how she overcame the trauma.

She said the experience made her hate men for a while, but she has now healed and moved on.

“Sexually abused as a kid? Yes. Mental health victim? Yes. In the society we live in, people don’t talk about mental health issues; they expect you to visit your pastor and you will be alright. As an actor, it is not easy. First, you will have to embody the life of different characters and personalities, the good, the bad and the terrible.

Despite what you are going through personally, you have to wear a smile and keep entertaining people because that is what people expect from you. I think there should be a special therapist for entertainers, because it is not easy. Giving out joy to people and lacking where to fill up from. Most people are broken; they’re carrying about baggage from the past, if you don’t talk about it so you can get help, you will keep carrying it about until it destroys you. By sharing your problems with your partner, you can get help.

Lastly, being traumatized isn’t a spiritual issue; it is a mental issue that needs a therapist. I will get married to my perfect partner someday. Before, it (the sexual abuse) kind of made me resent men, but I have healed from it and moved on. I am a lot better now.” She said.

Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has criticized his colleagues, Nancy Isime and Peter Okoye for their roles in the trending Netflix series, Shantytown.

Taking to his Instagram account he shared a video querying the need for Nancy Isime’s nudity and why Peter Okoye, a singer was given a movie role.

According to him, the entire production of the movie was sub par and not worth the hype.

In his words;

“So after all the Hype on Shanty Town, I finally sat down to #watch and I was so confused, it was a glorified ASABA movie, the story line was so uninteresting and a little bit more like our regular ASABA movie, only difference was it super high quality cinematography and advanced better production.
When exactly did Peter of PSQUARE turn Actor? Nancy showing unnecessary body is more confusing, Walahi some #Yoruba movies have better story line than this, Na all Hype, and this is why E go TEY before Nollywood go smell OSCAR #Awards because we not ready to be extraordinary in our story telling, imagine in 2023, we are bringing out this?
